Louis Logic

NYC’s own, Louis Logic has released some massivley overlooked, hard hitting LP’s both as a part of “The Odd Couple” and as a solo artist wit producer JJ Brown. Most recently, “Misery Loves Comedy” is in my opinion, one of the most underrated albums of 2006. Lou is very nice on the mic. He maintains a playful air throughout, yet manages to hit hard and be very candid professing his own insecurities. And his partner in crime, JJ Brown is fabulous on the mix. They work together magnificently. Especially on the single “The Great Divide,” a tragic tale of Mass Transit Romance, coupled with a spectacularly beautiful beat. All-in-all, “Misery Loves Comedy” was a great album, that if you have an opportunity, you should at least check out, and if you can, add to your collection.
