Here’s yet another somewhat obscure artist by the name of Madita. She’s an Austrian singer with an style that switches from a light and quick pace to a soft, slow, and deliberate one. Madita’s personal biography reflects what you’ll find in her music: “I have dedicated my life to my songs and i might write: It took me so long to find ingredients and the right time but it needs to be ‘cooked’ and ‘cared for’ and ‘prepared’ and filled up with all that you have….” Sounds like a recipe to me. Her new album, Too, is easily one of the best i have had the pleasure of hearing a while, so its definitely worth a look. If you happen to be in the Vienna, Austria area on the 22nd of February, definitely go see her in concert.
