Dub Side of the Moon
Ok… Been out of town (holla Chicago!) so I haven’t been able to post. But I’m back. And I’m at it again. So, this is kind of an unexpected post. But it’s dope.

As you probably are unaware, I am a big fan of Pink Floyd. I am a fairly recent convert, but when I converted, I converted hard. Their music is way beyond its time, trippy, experimental, and makes great use music technology. All in all one of the best, and most influential groups of all time. And their magnum opus: Dark Side of the Moon (don’t even tell me it’s The Wall). An album that really showcases some of the best they have to offer, a really abstract, trippy experience, that syncs up perfectly with The Wizard of Oz.

That said, here is an amazing flip on that: Dub Side of the Moon. Dub covers of the album by The Easy Star All-Stars. I have been listening to this album non-stop for like 2 weeks. It’s amazing. And it also lines up The Wizard of Oz.

And check it out synced to The Wizard of Oz:
