Getting Excited… El Che
One of the biggest unknowns in hip-hop, Che Smith, aka Rhymefest is doing it big for his sophmore album, El Che. The album is based around revolutionary Che Guevara, for whom he was named. The album will feature production from longtime friend KanYe West, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Lil’ Jon, DJ Premier, Mark Ronson, and more. A very eclectic group of producers for sure. But from what I can tell, it is shaping up wonderfully.

I’m very excited. In order to tide us over though, Rhymefest has released a mixtape dedicated to Michael Jackson called Man in the Mirror. I know it’s been out for a while, but it’s DOPE. Michael Jackson samples, remixes, and fake conversations between the two. Its really cool, and it’s presented by Mark Ronson. Free Download.
