Lil’ Dwayne
If you don’t know, now you know… We here at Vinyl Meltdown cannot get it through our heads why folks are so in love with Lil’ Wayne (I refuse to call him weezy, and I usually call him Dwayne). He’s just not that good. Sure, he can flow, but his voice is obnoxious and his lyrics are so disconnected and meaningless. Its like MF DOOM style random, but without any connection to anything deeper, and not as clever. Recently Lil’ Dwayne has been heard in an interview knocking mixtape DJs and comparing himself to Alfred Nobel. Listen to audio here:*

hope y’all got a kick out of that like i did, and that it reconfirmed my beliefs that he has no idea what he’s saying. hopefully he drops out of the spotlight soon.
