Autorock at the Rock and Roll Hotel

Autorock

So, the other night was the first time I have ever been able to catch Autorock live and direct. And let me say, it is not an experience I shall soon forget. As I mentioned, the past few days have been packed with… well packing. And moving. And travelling. And missing flights. And waiting in an airport which for some inexplicable reason seems to have no working electrical sockets. So after being in DC for less than 3 hours, after a grueling few days, going out seems like the last choice. And honestly, I did consider skipping the whole thing. But that would have been a terrible mistake.

Autorock delivered an amazing, 5+ hour set. Its always very impressive when a DJ can keep it up for that long (haha, sex jokes very funny). But when they’re not just playing music, but mixing, blending, and improvising for that long, its crazy. And when they do all of that, AND its really good… well there aren’t many words to describe that.

Autorock’s live shows are definitely a worthwhile experience. Its really fun to have music that can take over your body and make you dance for so long. I don’t want to go on too long, because you might think I’m exaggerating. I assure you I’m not. One of the best DJ sets I’ve seen.

PS

I am now devoting my life to opening a bar called “The Knife,” where the DJ only plays The Knife on a loop.
