Madlib is Killing it as of Late
Not that Madlib hasn’t been consistently dope always. But, this year alone he’s already released a brilliant Brazilian Jazz record (Jackson Conti – Sujinho) and a respectfully beautiful tribute to J-Dilla (Beat Konducta Vol. 5 – Dil Cosby Suite). And he’s on his way to release yet another album later this year that is sounding quite nice (WLIB AM: King of the Wigflip). All in all, Madlib is quietly tearing up the game right now. I don’t want to bog you down with tons of details about how dope he is, and how amazing everything he touches seems to be, because you probably already know. But I do want to throw a new track your way.
