Just got this one in, and damn I love it. This video really takes it back to where hip hop came from. I mean, I’m not gonna hate on these new fads of bright coloured everything, because I think its kind of cool… but these kids don’t realize that that’s not what the old school was about. This is what the old school was about, and its dope to see someone taking it back for real. This video is directed by Donlee Brussel (if that sounds familiar, Louis Logic told me in the interview that he’s doing his new video for Night of the Hip ‘n Dead). And I have to say, it is done quite beautifully. I could go into a lot of details about how much I like this, but I think you will be able to see for yourself. And I haven’t even gotten into the song… Jendor takes it back to his influences, and inspirations on this track. His album, Gourmet Classics, is out now, and available on iTunes. Make sure to check that out, its worth your while.
