I’ve been in the mood for some Mr. Lif music in the past few days. Mainly been bumping Enters the Colossus and I-Phantom. This joint is a classic in my book. It’s the first time most people heard anything by The Perceptionists, the Boston based trio of Akrobatik, Mr. Lif, and DJ Fakts-One. If you don’t have their album, Black Dialogue, it’s definitely worth checking out. And needless to say, if you don’t have Enters the Colossus (Mr. Lif’s debut EP that features this track), and you’re digging this track, you might need to pick that one up. Hard to believe it’s almost 10 years old. Classic.
