Kidz in the Hall – Drivin’ Down the Block (El-P remix)
So in an unexpected turn of events, I now think that a group consisting of Naledge, Double-0 and El-P is what hip-hop most desperately needs right now. Definitely did not see that coming. I loved how bumping the original beat of this was, but El-P kept the same energy and took the track into outerspace. A real upgrade on the beat. And to top it all off El-P flawlessly trades bars with Naledge. Their respective lyrical styles perfectly complement each other in an unexpected, but fantastic kind of way.
