I really don’t feel completely comfortable calling this a mixtape, cause it’s 100% original material. Hot off the announcement of his recent signing with Warner, Outasight has teamed up with LRG to present Further. For those not familiar with OU’s unique blend of singing and rapping this is a perfect introduction point. There are some really great sonic backdrops by primarily 6th Sense, but some additional work by Cook Classics and D/Will as well as some live instrumentation. Everything on this project feels soulful and sounds lush, from the beats to the rhymes to the singing. It’s no wonder that Outasight and the whole Notherground crew are making such big moves lately. Well deserved for sure.
