The Coup – Ride the Fence [video]

I’m not mad at them at all for this one. This video is for The Coup’s song Ride the Fence, which appeared on their 2001 album Party Music. After some revived attention for the group (due to song placements in Superbad, and the game Skate), it seems as though they decided to go back and [...]

P-Rod – Today Was A Good Day [extended]

The extended version of Nike’s latest viral video hit the net a day or so ago. I’ve been out of commission for the past 2, so who knows. regardless, it’s a funny, entertaining video, and the extended/updated version contains a cameo or two we didn’t see before as well as more skating (because you know [...]

LRG Skateboarding – Monkeys and Marbles

The LRG skate team headed to Thailand and China to put together some nice skate footage. Pretty much all I have to say about that really. Except that the Exile track they use is really dope.

Nike SB Presents: Today Was a Good Day

I guess this is considered viral marketing? Not really sure what to call this, but it’s cool. Features P-Rod (who’s shoes are amongst the best I’ve ever worn) skating around. Then something goes horribly wrong. Nike SB’s been on their video game lately. Hopefully we’ll see some more in the near future.

Blue Lobster Alert

To be straight up, I have to say that Nike hasn’t wowed me much lately with sneakers. The RT1s, the Zoom Veloce, and a couple other shoes here and there have been good, but for the most part. Especially with the SB line, nothing has really grabbed my attention. Then again, I don’t like the [...]

Western Edition X Raw – Marvin Gaye

Previously from Western Edition, we saw a Miles Davis tribute collection. This time, they went a little funkier and collaborated with Raw for a series of products to celebrate the life and contributions of legendary vocalist Marvin Gaye. All I have to say is, if these guys keep dropping dope products like these, I’m gonna [...]

Etnies Brings Back The Rap

Etnies is known as the first ever skate-shoe company owned by skateboarders and its reputation for quality and look follows. That being said, Etnies is bringing back the Rap model in 2009 and it looks like its going to be pretty solid. They added several technical upgrades including vulcanized soles alongside mid/low cut models so [...]

Where the Wild Things Are (trailer)

This is going to be an incredible movie. Spike Jonze is such a talented and visionary director. And this is one of the most beloved children’s books of all time. I’m excited to see how it all comes together, and whether or not it appeals to the masses. I’m blown away by the way he [...]

Miles Davis Skateboards

SF based skate company Western Edition has created a line up of decks to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Miles Davis seminal work, A Kind of Blue. The series features each member of the Miles Davis Quintet from 1959. The artwork is great, and it could make for some real nice decoration on the wall. [...]

Terry Kennedy – Swagga Like Us

Terry Kennedy is the shit.
That is all.
